    1. Yep, Julz, a very lot of stairs, but he view is magnificent.

  2. Did you set the camera on a timer and run to the top, Claudette? 🙂 Great shot. Really draws you in with your eyes following all the way to the top.

    1. Oh Hugh – NO 🙂
I’m not that speedy. I have walked these a couple of times and that really pushes my limits – no running for me.

      1. I think I would have needed a stairlift to get to the top so well done for making it 🙂

    1. Thank you Renate. I admit it took me a while to think of this photo for this challenge.

  4. Brilliant shot for this week’s challenge. I love how you manage to get that person at the top in the shot as well. He must have been feeling very tired up there 😀 I hope you attempted the climb yourself. That would be an amazing achievement 🙂

    1. Hi Mabel, I have, indeed, climbed these stairs a few times, the view from the top is well worth the climb! They are on “the Neck” Bruny Island, Tasmania (Australia) and when you get to the top you can see the view both sides of the island.
I admit the synchronicity of the person at the top was not planned 🙂

      1. That is great to hear you made it to the top without tumbling down. It’s a steep set of stairs. One wrong foot and things could go horrible wrong!

Ah, Tasmania isn’t too far from where I am (Melbourne, Australia). I will keep this place in mind if I get the chance to visit the state.

Lady luck was certainly on your side that day when you captured this shot 🙂

  5. Upwards. I do hate walks upwards but console myself there will be something to see from the top and then its only a matter of blissfully going down.
