Hugh invited me to participate in the Black & White Photography Challenge and I have been quite enjoying it, which is a bit surprising as I love colour. This photo is a very good example of why I am rethinking B & W, the focus stands out so much more without colour.
Day 4 – One among Many

This is the best one yet, in my opinion, Claudette. The black and white so brings out all the detail in that plant and I love the way the rest of the photo behind is blurred. It is very eye catching and would make a super print on a living room wall.

Thanks Hugh, It’s amazing what an everyday object can look like given the chance. Just some dead grass heads against the fence. Thanks for your lovely comments.

You’re welcome, Claudette. You really have taken the challenge very well and treated us with some fantastic black and white photography. Very well done. I knew you would excel with this challenge. That’s why I invited you to take part in it.

I know I have said it before, but you really are such a nice man Hugh (it’s ok, I can’t see you blushing).
