Sunday Evening

Claudette

It’s nice to get to Sunday evening without panic setting in,
to not feel stressed and anxious,
as to what the next work day will bring.

To know I have a job that I enjoy going to,
with each Wednesday off
as a special bonus too.

It’s really quite conducive to bringing out my best,
To know each Monday morning
it’s just two days till I can have a rest!

    As ever this is a perfect ditty – it will make several rather jealous, I am sure (the day off mid-week could not be more perfect) but for me with every day to do as I please, I can only look back fondly at those days when the clock dictated my daily routine most days out of seven 🙂

      You are most kind Osyth. My Wednesday Day Off (today) is wonderful, and I really think it helps me be a healthier, happier person because I do what I enjoy on these days. I really think the world would be so much nicer if everyone who worked could have a day off in the middle of it. 🙂
