Pick up the nearest book and flip to page 29. What’s the first word that jumps off the page?
Dear Word
You didn’t jump, but rather, firmly affixed, you stayed on the page. There was no fear of vacillation, you were concise and clear. You stood between others, creating a structure of words for my enlightenment. Such little letters, strung together, combined to tell the story.
“She had no use for romance …” and thus the truth is spoken.
