Hi Mabel, I have, indeed, climbed these stairs a few times, the view from the top is well worth the climb! They are on “the Neck” Bruny Island, Tasmania (Australia) and when you get to the top you can see the view both sides of the island.
I admit the synchronicity of the person at the top was not planned 🙂LikeLike

That is great to hear you made it to the top without tumbling down. It’s a steep set of stairs. One wrong foot and things could go horrible wrong!
Ah, Tasmania isn’t too far from where I am (Melbourne, Australia). I will keep this place in mind if I get the chance to visit the state.

Upwards. I do hate walks upwards but console myself there will be something to see from the top and then its only a matter of blissfully going down.
