    I don’t know why, but reminded me of the movie and book “War of The Worlds” where it was the bacteria on Earth that finally stopped the invaders from Mars. It’s one of favourite movies, so maybe that is why.

      Yes, that’s the idea of it, not the big things but the little that end up getting you.
      Probably should look out for the tentacles too, if we are talking W of the W.
