I’m thankful for the trees in my garden which give me shade in summer,
bare branches in winter,
and texture all year round.
I’m also thankful for the lovely rural views I enjoy, I like looking at my neighbours highland cattle with their shaggy coats and long horns. They are quite friendly (being hand-raised) and if I pick some tree tips they will come up and eat them from my hand.
You certainly do have lovely views.

I love the bit of lichen sunning itself. I completely identify with that… 😉

O…..K – you are like lichen?! or you just want to be a green blob and sun yourself all day?

Well, I’m glad Brian identified the lichen because I didn’t know what the green blob was. Though I have seen pictures of highland cattle before and I love their shaggy faces. Lovely views!

I have wonderful views from front and back. I also have lots of lichen – they say it lives where the air is good and there is minimal pollution – so I welcome it. Some of my trees look like the have green measles 🙂
