I’m Home, I’m Home
no more to roam
at least for now
I’ll take my bow
and soothe a weary travellers woes
by soaking deep, from head to toe
in my own bath, and then to bed
in fresh, clean sheets I’ll rest my head
what better, simple joy than this
to crown it all with daughters kiss.

Thanks Juli. When I am away all I want is to be coming home – I get dreadful homesickness even at my age.

I have always looked forward to going home when a trip is almost over, but living overseas for ten years made returning to Australia the ultimate ‘home.’ We’re lucky to call this special country ours.
