She wore a crown of feathers
and some did think her mad,
she wore a crown of feathers
to remind her that she had,
learnt not to resist
the subtle twists
of life.
She wore a crown of feathers
upon her short grey hair,
and what they thought of her
she did not care,
because she liked herself.
She wore a crown of feathers
one visible, one unseen,
she wore a crown of feathers
let them wonder what it means,
when she takes to the sky
as she learns
to fly.

Hope you don’t mind if I join you, sporting my own crown, and we can fly together… 😉

Sounds Grand to me – we should flash our crowns more often 🙂

I read this last night, but couldn’t find the right words to comment. I still can’t but didn’t want it to go uncommented as it really spoke to me and you look just beautiful and ready for anything in your crown of feathers!

Thank you so much. I think me all need to polish our crowns and were them more prominently more often than we do.
