50 Annual Revolutions

the life that is I has revolved,
50 annuals –  when all years are told,
I hope that there’s more,
left in my time store,
’cause it doesn’t seem much,
when you’re on the cusp,
of the gathering run,
towards life’s setting sun,
and it seems fair to say,
that back in the day,
when I was younger,
life was much longer.

  5. Revolutions or not, just enjoy each day as you can and suddenly you will find that eighty revolutions have spun by and life is still interesting-but of course not as long as when one was eight!

    1. Thank you Christine. I guess, really, that any age can be on the cusp, perhaps it is just our attitude that makes the difference. 🙂
