Emotography – Week 18/2016

Post and Barb

Standing … the test of time

I have stood true
through summers’ heat, and winters’ rain
I have served my purpose
and held against the strain
I am beauty in the quietest way
of weathered wood and rusted wire
I proved equal to my test of time
to what do you aspire?

    1. Glad that you thought so. I am lucky that sometimes these things just flow, so when they do I like to keep up with them 🙂

      1. Well you’re on top form, although I always enjoy reading your poems. You have a knack of writing just how I feel sometimes.
